I liked Dougie telling that bitch off a daughter to "F*** off" after her mother had died.
That Kev character is getting shittier every episode.

Kev is pretty annoying but I like the rest of the show.

Seeing that egg with sideburns on TV again is great. Telling that magpie bitch to **** off was gold, even better than when he told the suit to **** off when he was looking to close the nursing home down.

It's not a surprise that Merchant never really cared for Karl, he was always Ricky's pet. He would always get so defensive whenever Karl made a comment about his appearance on XFM, took it too personally.

Anyway Karl is great in this even if he's just being himself, I think you have to approach this show in the same way as Angry Boys, if you're expecting a straight up LOL comedy you'll be disappointed; better to consider it as a light-hearted drama.

Although I must say Kev doesn't fit into either category.

Feels were had when Marge gave Tom(?) the ring.

You can't compare this to Gervais' other stuff, it's a different wavelength...although Karl's real character shines through. Cute and original little show.

How could you not love the para-para-para-paradise song, which completely does not fit anything, played over the top of them telling us once again that the broad in the show is really loving and caring and doesn't who anything for herself?

How could you not love Kev writing 'quim' on a crab (OK I chuckled)?!

Or yet another bitch who doesn't love their mum being shown up at the end with a spine tingling speech?! But the broad with the big heart will take care of her!

How could you not love the fact that Ricky Gervais has been recycling the 'which one would you take' bit over his whole career (spammed it in Extras from what I remember), or the fact that he loves a wrestle which we learned about 10 years ago?

Karl is the star of the show, some of the humor of the podcasts shines through (Derek's 'who would win between such and such' questions)

Without him the show would be a grind.
