In fairness, the battle of the bridge was the battle for the Big Footy game day thread to get to a second page, so I'm guessing there wasn't too much to talk about.
Dermie and JB hate the fact that Mummy retired so they can't joke and laugh about his "physical" game style, Preuss is the next best option for them.

Agreed. Derm and Lynch are my two favourites. Laidback, fun and still with insight.
Clearly seen as second tier at Foxfooty, this would kill, no, annihilate his ego.

Dermott can be a bit pretentious. But otherwise, I think he’s a good commentator.
I know he has his flaws, but he also has a bit of personality, knows the game, and will give an honest and direct opinion - these commentators are a dying breed as they get replaced by the nice and safe types who are as bland and boring as bat ****.

Brereton by now should have learned the art of word economy (or it should have been drummed into him).
Needs to keep it brief instead of rabbiting on.
He is often speaking when the ball is in play when the main commentator should be the voice heard.
Bit sick of him actually as he seems to be allocated to every Giants game.
