Well, that's probably true, the Blues are getting desperate and it's 20 years since success came their way and right about now you would have to say they are languishing down amongst the also - rans of the competition. The Blues can now be lumped in with the Dogs, Saints, Roos and Dees in the middle of the road. Both the Dogs and Roos have better prospects currently. The Blues have a problem, Mad Mick has a contract for 2015 and Bomber Thompson will either exit the game altogether or go elsewhere when Sir James returns, what do they do? Do they offer him the world or make a play for Hawthorn's Brendon Bolton? The Malthouse experiment hasn't worked and needs to be nipped in the bud sooner rather than later, i don't think the Blues know what to do period.It's funny listening to Maclure bag Mick because he was the same bloke trying to get rid of Ratten for Mick and was quite outspoken about it too.
Now he's not happy, not happy at all and probably wants Mick out such is the quick-fix-nature these Carlton blokes employ.
