The boy deserves his own thread. His play of late has been phenomenal.

His last 7 games have seen him average over 15 assists a game, whilst still getting about 18 ppg. And in that time has played

New Orleans, Detroit, Dallas, Phoenix and Denver.

Oh and the Jazz are 6-1 in that stretch.

14 points and 15 assists.

game not over but he has checked out. should be it for him

Over last 7 games he has:

126 points @ 18 per game
105 assists @ 15 per game

The boy's an elite talent for sure.

Btw still I think CP3 is a better player right now, but you can't deny the fantastic numbers Williams has been putting up ...

Superstar.

Unlucky for him that he'll be growing up at the same stage as CP3 because he'll be known as the 2nd best PG in the league in a few years. :p

yeah he is a gun. I still like him as a PG more so than Paul, and unfortunately for him these 2 are always going to be compared together.

he is a superstar

Kidd said he was better than Paul
he is much better than Paul

And in fact, its not even close

Deron Williams is the best PG in the game. He gets to the hoop when he wants, he can shoot the lights out, he is a big and strong and a great defender. I really dont see a weakness in his game

Nash - pathetic defender
Paul - average defender, poor shooter

Deron - ???

Pretty much the total package

Why is it, in the need to pump up your own fave player, you have to slag off two other great players ???

Seriously that's a pretty Poor attitude to have, yeah Deron has been playing very well, but good god, honestly why is the need to slag off CP3 and Nash ???

You can argue (with a little merit) that he is better then Nash or CP3, but honestly there is no need for u to trolling and hanging crap on them ..

and FWIW CP3 is still the best PG in the game ..

Also super phaser CP3 is just as good a shooter as Deron.

i'm a massive DW fan and i'll go on record as saying he's better than CP3. but it's pretty close. i think they're both phenomenal point guards.

its funny, when did Nash go from being the best point guard in the league to the 3rd best?

It happened very quickly, but not surprisingly

Deron and Paul are definitely 1 and 2

Nash didnt have much PG competition for many years, except from Jason Kidd

Now they have both been relegated.

amazing how quickly an MVP point guard can drop to 3rd best in the league, especially when you consider last season was probably his best season and he should have won MVP.

i'd probably drop Nash behind Chauncey too, but i'm a little biased being a Detroit fan. at least Billups can defend :)
