A desperate request for someone that is not using their Hawks membership on Friday night? A friend coming to the footy with us on Friday is not a Hawks fan otherwise the rest of us are members, we are willing to pay for the privelidge and will meet you anywhere.

We do not want to sit with scum fans and want to be part of the Hawk army.
Have rang the club with no luck. please.

PM if you can.
Thanks pacman

Just get your friend to pay his $21.30 at the gate and you can all sit any where in the GA area - Punt Road end will be mainly Hawthorn.

If you have reserved seat memberships then get your friend to buy a GA ticket and after getting to your seats simply take one of the membership cards back out of the seating area and give it to your friend so he can flash it at the attendant and get into the same seating area. There are so many empty seats in the members reserved seat areas that you shouldn't have any problem getting him a seat close to you.

But remember of course that memberships aren't transferable
.

Yeah right. I'm still furious at the knobs who sit behind me who passed on their memberships to two scum fans for round 22 last year.

They had cast iron balls sitting in reserved seating, surrounded by Hawks yet still cheered when Sewell was shirtfronted.

This same thing happened to us at the Blues game last season and had Knob Blues supporters sitting in Hawks gold members seating.

If they were ok blokes I wouldn't have minded but as the game progressed they just got louder and more annoying.

I ended up speaking to a couple of the MCG staff but their only answer was "Contact the club it's their responsibility."

So yeah the idea of sneaking a Hawker mate into reserved seating is a goer.

MCG staff couldn't give two hoots.

That was seriously one of the most painful games. Max going down, Sewell, getting run over the top of and having to listen to scum knobs gloating and cheering behind me.

Also annoying that fellow Hawks would let their scum mates into our strong hold.

Will make us smashing them on friday even sweeter.

In 2008 I did exactly the opposite of that - sat in the Essendon members at Telstra Dome courtesy of a Bombers fan in-law. Went on his sisters ticket no less (so much for lack of transferability).

Now we knew where we were going (myself and my Hawks father in law) so we went incognito and behaved. It was a big win for us and Buddy kicked a bag. Myself and the F-i-L behaved, but we didn't cheer the Bombres and the two ladies behind us (one in her 30's and another in her 60's) cottoned on and started into us.

I'm fine with some banter, even within drool distance of the Essendon cheersquad, but I had my five year old nephew, decked out in black and red no less, sitting with me. Lovely kid. It didn't deter the two harpes behind me one little bit. The filth that came from their mouths was astonishing and my poor nephew couldn't understand why they didn't like me (I'm a charming guy, seriously). My Essendon member in law was embarrassed beyond belief.

Context is king. You pay attention to you surroundings and act accordingly. Unless you are an Essendon member.

I bought some tickets at a scum home game in 08 behind the scum cheersquad. Buddy kicked 9 that night. Had some friendly banter with some scum fans though was definitely more restrained then I usually would be. Not worth the trouble, most of the crowd trouble I've seen at football in my lifetime has been at Hawthorn v Essendon games.

Exactly.

Most people would make allowances for the situation they find themselves in and behave in an according way.

To cheer Lloyds dog act while sitting amongst 100's of Hawthorn supporters, I mean seriously, fifteen years ago they would have been king hit and thrown down the stairs.

The reluctance/refusal of MCG staff to act also peed me off.

All will be forgotten come 1030pm on friday.
