Des senior brings up an interesting point, according to him the alleged comments are much more offensive than being racially villified. If Selwood had racially abused him the tribunal would have taken that into account, but there is no policy on this issues.

Family is very important to all of us, but even more so to the indigenous community. Selwood will be hoping not to bump into any members of the Headland family when he is out and about.

Sorry but butting in but I agree with Des senior in regards to the comments made by Adam Selwood that they were far worse then racially vilifying someone.

If Adam Selwood called Des Headland some name “the N word” or “a Black so and so” he could have brushed it off and dealt with it because it was directed at him but he said it about his 6 year old daughter and that is a low act.

I have a 9 year old sister and my GF has a 11 year old younger sister and if anyone said something like that about either of thoes two, I would want to bloody kill him.

Des will serve his suspension because he did the wrong thing but Adam Selwood is a filthy dog and should be suspended as well. If Adam Selwood has vilified Des Headland he should be suspended as well.
