Just completed the Thorn quest this morning. Raged hard with the lag in Crucible but I'm now almost used to playing voidwalker in Crucible after using stormcaller exclusively to this point.

Also bought a gauntlet engram from tentacle face. Took it to Rahool. Ophidian Aspects first time! RNG loves me.

Wasn't the gauntlet engram a legacy engram?

Disagree. A fireteam is required for the Raid and the Nightfall, but I've soloed Crucible and strikes for ages. It's not as fun to solo Destiny content, but it's do-able.

It's not that bad though, IB, Crucible, Heroic Strikes, Forge, Exotics are all pick up and play modes you can do that don't require teams.

Infinitely better when on the off chance you didn't have a regular raid team and you did raid, you could potentially play for 2 hours and get nada.

Now with crucible drops being better than ever you can get a higher light level legendary (even in a loss!) and exotic within 5 minutes.

As Ryz and Dixie said a fireteam isn't needed for most of those.

I spent half an hour in the forge this afternoon and went from 374 to 376 light and well on the way to levelling faction and vanguard rank.

If I get to do the weekly shax bounty I reckon I'll get to 380 in a couple hours.

Of course everything is so much more fun with a good fireteam.

Festival of the Lost starts at reset. It'll be fun for the first couple of days and then I'm almost positive I'll lose interest, especially as I have no intention of spending cash on buying silver dust to buy masks, etc.

Hey mate, seeing as quite a few of us struggle with legit real world stuff that pops up now and then, thought I would create a group using the same app that the clan im a part of uses. (have less use atm now due to more people on the friend list are online, and the clan im a part of is mostly US/UK players) might help for more last minute stuff for smaller PvE or crucible stuff, as well as organizing raids.

This might help if you're online same time as few of us. Once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy.

Group ive created is BigFooty/Whirlpool Destiny (seeing as these are two aussie major forums with Destiny regulars)
