The DLC gives you an item to fast forward to level 40 on one character if you're so inclined.

The $44 thing is a stupid offer anyway since it doesn't level any of your sub classes so you've still got to grind everything out anyway.

Played Trials for the first time with Ryz and Vincent Chase last night.

Needless to say, the results weren't pretty. But we managed to complete the gold tier bounty. For my troubles, I got an Exile Shell.

Blergh.

Had fun but I realise now how much of a crutch the radar is. Felt naked without it.

SRL back from 13 December for three weeks then can be done in private matches.

Bungie is introducing points into strikes which help complete bounties handed out by Zavala. Finishing the bounties give a chance of landing a year 3 icebreaker.

I'm in for SRL for the shaders. Pretty much all of the best shaders were from last year's SRL
