I knew I'd get sucked into getting the first 2 DLC's so I got the collectors edition for $130. $30 extra probably covers the DLC. But it does come with other junk I will read once and hide in a cupboard.

So what's everyone going to play as?
Since you asked here's my thoughts
I played as the Titan in the beta and I was tempted to go the hunter but now I'm thinking of going back to the Titan for the proper game.
I use a DMR (halo) like rifle I'm not sure if that means I should select a hunter class? It's more of a mid range weapon. Not the biggest fan of machine gun/auto rifles. I like my headshots.

Titans armour looks the best IMO. The hunter helmets look a bit weird.

The special smash ability is awesome and seems like a good last resort attack, a little less likely to fail compared to the hunter. I'm leaning towards the Titan but usually in mmo like games the tank is the most boring. But I did see on ign that people play the Titan the least so I'm happy to be the minority.

It's more shooter than MMO , the classes are not that diff at the early levels anyway

Though I preferred the hunters double jump to the other classes hovering

Yeh that hover takes a lot to get used to. It's gotten me in trouble a few times.

The Warlock glide is pretty lame.

I hated the Warlock lift; the only thing that really stopped me from loving the class to be honest.

Looking at the skills tree though it develops into teleportation later, which could be cool.

I think I'll be going Hunter - Bladedancer subclass. I've got a feeling it will be rather deadly when it comes to PVP especially if you can combine blink + backstab attacks.

I'm rolling warlock. Reckon titans will be dime a dozen and liking the look of the sunsinger tree to offer mad PvE healz and raid squad buffs.

Yeah the issue is going to be getting 6 people together. Which should be fine for Bigfooty people. But others are going to struggle

I'll only have 3 or 4 friends (actually extended family :/) that will be playing Destiny and we all work different hours so usually only play together weekends. Might have to try and tag along some BF groups if there is ever any room.
