I use Sunbreaker and it's as enjoyable as all hell.

That doesn't change the fact that it is stupidly OP in crucible. It will destroy any sense of balance in Trials and that's what will disappoint me the most.
True. But I would enjoy just one trials with my pre nerfed Sunbreaker. Those immolation fists help as well.

I haven't used them that much yet. But when I have I've found that yes, the super is remarkably op, but that the neutral game is pretty meh. Given that, and given the fact you don't actually have your super much in trials - rarely more than once a game - I'm hoping it won't be as bad as you suggest.

Also, if you're in the air you're very hard to hit with a hammer. I personally think it can be managed, but I could be wrong

You just throw at the floor if they are in the air and your get them as they are landing. They aren't to dissimilar to grenades and horseshoes rockets. You barely have to aim them and your only real counter is to run since you can't even down them with a sniper headshot.

It is the clearest case of if you pop your super you win the round. Unless someone is dedicating themselves running nightstalker to counter you. It will rip Trials to shreds. Teams of 3x Sunbreakers will destroy most others.

If it is anything less than utterly dominant I'll be shocked.

yeah you could well be right. I hope not though.

I just don't see it as hugely that different to a golden gun, apart from the fact you can spam it of course, and the armour. But with golden gun you can have 4 OHK bullets which is more than enough for a decent player. Same deal, you have no choice but to run really. I know the main issue you probably have is that they have too much armour and can't be sniped, unlike a golden gun, and on that point I couldn't agree more.

I guess I'll just make sure my Titan is good to go asap!

I take on golden gunners with a sniper, especially from range or around a corner with a shotgun.

Neither option downs a Hammer bro, because.. well.. Hammer bro.

yeah ridiculous armour is ridiculous. No argument there.

I didn't realise that above video is using a "glitch" - I use inverted commas because I'm not sure it is a glitch - but I do think it's not meant to behave like this. Because throwing hammers like this is, officially, broken as ****, and they'll surely have to fix it.

It's Golden Gun on crack. No range drop off, homing hammers and can throw about 2x as much on max builds plus it has more than double the armour.

Oh and if you get a single kill with it you get your health back in full. It can tank sniper headshots, rockets and takes 2x GG shots to bring down.

My issue is I think teams that run it pretty much can stomp 3 round wins out of it. I'll use it because there really doesn't seem to be a consistent counter to it other than being one yourself (nailing Shadow Shot when there's a hurricane of hammers coming your way is pretty difficult).

All the videos I've seen of this exploit the user is stationary though. Not having tried it myself, I'd imagine it would be a lot harder to pull off while moving around and aiming them so I don't think it would be as gamebreaking in PVP as suggested. The only real use I can imagine would be using it to block off a chokepoint and hoping people are stupid enough to run straight into it (let's face it they are, *cough* B corridors on Asylum)

My hammer bro must be different to everyone elses, 1 gg and im down, regurlarly get shot down, average maybe 2 kills with it. Not clear on all the hype?
You'll probably find its blown slightly out of proportion. That Sith Lord warlock has some pretty decent armour as well. Not sure about the Hunter.

Nah. Warlock can be sniped/shotgunned easily. Not to mention it loses to every other super (yes, even Bladedance). It feels balanced.
Good luck getting close enough to shotgun the thing. I've tried a couple times to shotgun it and it didn't turn out well for me. Bladedancer on the other hand....

I thought that the Warlock was the least appealing out of the 3 new sub-classes but after seeing it in action it looks very fun to play with. I might give my warlock some attention once I get my titans light to 300.

Now there's a word that shouldn't be used to describe Destiny PVP, Balanced.

The Warlock only Exotic Scout Rifle turns into a MIDA when a super is charged so I'll sit on my Sunsinger super until i want to switch weapons or feel like a good ol' self res troll flag capture.

I get more satisfaction from gun kills than cheap as **** super kills anyway, shit mechanic designed for casual players to panic pop when they're about to die.

Well you don't rush headlong into it. Blink over it or camp the corners. When a player is Palpatining he's looking for kills, use his aggression against him.
