Question. I got some form of armour that has a bonus that helps carry more ammo for pulse rifles.
I then found some more armour with a higher defence and the same carry more ammo for pulse rifles, but it's grayed out.
Would I need to dismantle the lower defensive rating armour in order to get that pulse rifle ammo option available?
I hope that makes sense.

What's the dealio with Discipline and Strength bonuses anyway.

I'm pretty sure you have to upgrade you're item for it to be active. You get the option to upgrade eventually just from playing while wearing the armour

I just accepted the invite (for you setting it as a clan) for the second time and it comes up with Error 657. ? I have no idea what error that is. Have you played the game yet? If not maybe play it, leave the group and re-join then try setting it as your Xbox Clan.

First step sign in with your PSN or MS ID
once you've done that
type BigFooty into the group search bar.

Once it comes up just request to join and once its authorised you'll be part of the group.
Once you've been added to the group you will then need to return to the group page and select BigFooty group as your clan. (stupid i know)

also it's a closed group so you should probably post your PSN or XBL handle so the admins know who you are.

I did a strike playlist mission which is basically Earth Hard Mode. Nothing too difficult; not with a good team anyway.

BTW, if you want to half the amount of time it takes to get those legendary goods, go to the hangar and buy one of those 2-2.5k bands from Dead Orbit or New Monarchy, wear it, and it combines both Crucible & Vanguard exp into Faction exp. It's only worth it if you want to buy something from the faction store rather than the Vanguard/Crucible Stores.

Morning is the worst time to play, son was just on and dropped out every 10 seconds, just gave up. I was on for about 2 hours last night and not one drop out.

Pretty sure there's no level requirement. Just need to have 2-2.5k Glimmer.

You should also check both factions shops to decide what you want. Both offer different things.

Once you're level 20, you can get them from the Strike Playlist & The Crucible as random rewards after completion.

I think Strike Playlist is more reliable because it says you get an Vanguard Equip as a reward in the menu; whether or not you get one from the Crucible is completely random.

Check the respective stores to see what the statistical differences are. Also make sure to check the faction stores in the Hangar (dead orbit and new monarchy) to see their unique weapons/armour too (you need the faction band for those however).

All weapons bought can be used for any mode.

Did a Heroic story mission last night and it was still pretty easy. We did it comfortably with only 2 people.
