Wait you can get exotics in strike playlists or was that in an engram?

Was planning on doing a few of them before reset tomorrow in the hope of getting a helmet for my warlock & hunter, more keen now knowing that lol.

Wasn't in an engram; was just an end-of-strike reward.

Yeah it was the first time I've ever seen it happen as well.
 
So this week I've been on when Wii & Spud both got Multi-tools, when Lukas & the random both got Dragon's Breath and was in a VoG Raid group where 3 people had Exotics drop from the main loot chest.

Interesting week.

That wasn't a complaint btw (bar that random campaigner :P), I'm just kind of surprised to see so many Exotics drop outside of Nightfalls.

In fact none of that stuff included Nightfalls because I couldn't remember who got what.

Yeah it certainly seems like loot is dropping a lot more often since that patch before the DLC. You and Tup getting back to back exotics from Strikes, me and that random getting DB. ETC. Dunno if it's deliberate or just a coincidence.

Nah, if you go back a few pages me and Lukas were venting about some random in the Crucible having one drop despite being the worst player on the team for that round.

Although I was also there when you got your Truth rocket launcher which I forgot about.

Ah yeh, I remember that now. Just ask Vooligan though, less kills in nightfalls/weeklies etc usually means better rewards (like Seany with Crota the other night when he spent about 2 seconds in the game and got an awesome drop).
 
I don't get why 331 exotics & stuff are available everywhere in the game now exept the VoG where the drops are still 300 weapons. It's not like it's gotten any easier. I mean if you can get updated stuff in the bounties, nightfall & apparently even stikes now why not keep the vault worthwhile in doing? It's just made it completely redundant when it really wouldn't be any effort to keep some relevance to a fun part of a game that already lacks in variety of missions.
