Haven't seen a thread about this team recently, but they are amazing. Absolutely manhandled the Cavs today, winning by 20 but only because they played a lot of the second half with their reserves.

Eight game winning streak, holding opponents to around 70 points a game, winning by around 22, and I am guessing their starters haven't played a last quarter in a long time. They are going to be fresh and very hard to beat come Eastern playoff time. Record for holding most teams under 70 since the shotclock came in at nine times this season, and also the record for consecutively doing it at five.

Miami have won five straight, and their reward will likely be Detroit in the playoffs

Picking up Rasheed makes them competitive against the big boys, providing he keeps his head straight. Detroit is the one team that I would want to avoid until the finals in the east. NJ is banged up and I'd take my chances with Indy rather than Detroit just at the minute.

There are only a couple of games seperating a number of teams in the east, so Miami still might dodge that bullet. Love the job that Miami have done this year. Cleveland have got most of the kudos, but Miami are right there with them and have exceeded expectations.

There looking good at the minute and r keeping some teams under 70 points..... I think they would have made it 6 teams in a row under 70 points against the Nets, but it never happen due to a Aaron Williams tip in to be beat the buzzer, the Nets even fouled them with 20 or so seconds left (down by 20 points) so they could get 1 last shot at getting over 70 points.

And I believe the Pistons weren't happy with the result...

They're a mean lot of guys in the motor City. You could almost say the current Pistons lineup is a bunch of bad boys.

The Pistons are good but Ill still back the Nets or Indy in a 7 game series. But Detroit will certainly be thereabouts.
