Surprised no one has brought up the almighty wails of anguish that have surrounded the release of the demo for DX:IW.
While I still remain hopeful that the game will be a worthy successor to the original, the demo version that Ion Storm have released must surely go down in history as Worst. Demo. Ever. The game itself shows a great deal of potential, but the file released was an extremely poor rush job full of technical stuff ups (.INI files in desperate need of editing) and lacking any sort of background explanations (mandatory in the DX universe, you'd think) that is bound to come back and bite the game on the arse when it gets released. Oh look, it's just gone gold in time for Xmas...surprise surprise.
If this game blows, there's gonna be a LOT of very unhappy peeps out there.
