He's had knee issues but i'd back SOS & Co to do their due diligence and not do another Daisy.

Maybe we're confident we can get his knee right? Both Marchbank and Pickett had ongoing injuries while at GWS and came to us with them but have both since gotten on the park.

Nathan Wilson, Devon Smith and Matt Kennedy have all requested trades from the GWS Giants.

RUNNING defender Nathan Wilson has requested a trade from Greater Western Sydney to head back to Western Australia to be with family.

AFL.com.au understands the 24-year-old is likely to join Fremantle during the upcoming trade period.

Wilson joined the Giants as a 17-year-old access selection in 2011, and has been at the club for six seasons, playing 77 games.

The long-kicking Wilson played 45 games in the past two seasons to become a key component of the Giants' backline that reached two preliminary finals.

Ahead of the Giants' semi-final against West Coast earlier this month, Wilson brushed off talk of a move back to his home state.

Although disappointed to lose the defender, the Giants are believed to be open to trading Wilson.

Smith is interesting. Carlton, Collingwood or Geelong?

Carlton's 2nd or Geelong's 1st is probably around the mark. Geelong's 1st is owned by Richmond and Carlton's 2nd by Geelong.

Collingwood's first is too high and their second too late.

It's going to be interesting how it gets done. Probably thinking Geelong is easier but he has got to want to come.

As for Devon we wait until he nominates I guess.

I'm coming around to the view pick 20 might be realistic. His second half of the season hasn't been great, and I think his knee is hampering him. He had surgery early in 2016 which was called "clean up" surgery by the club after deciding not to in the off season. This suggests to me it might be a problem without a straightforward solution.
He looked ok for a while but his form has dropped and he's missed games again.
Wherever he goes I hope it gets sorted, he's great to watch at his best.
