The club's always said we trade in the ckubs best interests. Previous trades with the have inckuded giving some guys opportunity and yes salary dumping. With our list size normalised I doubt that will be a factor this year. You got a steal with WHE anyway, happy as I am he's doing well.

Carlton's 2nd or Geelong's 1st is probably around the mark. Geelong's 1st is owned by Richmond and Carlton's 2nd by Geelong.

Collingwood's first is too high and their second too late.

It's going to be interesting how it gets done. Probably thinking Geelong is easier but he has got to want to come.

Geelong have put a contract to him and have the pick to get it done on day 1 of the trade period.

Carlton have more cash (and they will need it he won't choose them unless they offer more money) but neither they or collingwood have a 2nd rounder this year. I suppose they could trade a 2018 2nd rounder but that's about it.

Smedts, A.Silvagni, Kerridge, Wright, Gorringe in the last 2 years from previous AFL teams. I'm not going to waste my time and see what other clubs have recruited 5 players from other clubs in the last 2 years, but I'd imagine very few. How many teams have recruited a player from every state with an AFL team in the last 2 years?

I fail to see how they are even comparable. Sos has out done himself again by trying to trade for kelly, kennedy and smith. To go along with the other 50 GWS players he's tried to bring in over the last 2/3 years. He's clearly lost the plot. I bet he sleeps with a GWS doona. It is hindering carlton's ability to improve as a team.

I'm happy that Kennedy has apparently nommed Carlton and am happy to pay 17 for him that we might get in the Gibbs trade, or next years 2nd.

On Devon Smith, i am not fussed about him. I think he is overrated, overpaid and under performed. I would prefer Rockliff, and Rockliff has the added advantage of being free. I would personally prefer Smith to nom and go to Geelong but it seems that we are in with a big chance.

I personally don't rate Smith but can't see him going to cats.He wants to play midfield,Danger,Selwood,Ablett,Duncan,Guthrie,then probably him.Not sure.
