If that upsets you then I'd suggest not trolling in the first place.

It probably is in terms of points because the points don't deal well with an uneven number of assets changing hands. Two for two is generally fairly correct for what clubs would trade, but three for two (like here) or more can end up pretty silly with late picks overvalued.

Late picks are overvalued full stop. Its why the AFL has added the extra rules stopping clubs with academies from stock piling points

Rockliff will be 28 by the start of next season all though he would have been perfect he's doesn't fit our age profile.

I don't agree that Rockliff would be such a great fit. He is poor defensively and is more an accumulator than a genuine inside distributor.

We need a Cripps, Kennedy, Cunnington or Libba type not another accumulator that isn't any better at winning the footy than Heppell.

Nah. I watch every GWS and every Brisbane game each year. Smith is ok at providing pressure up forward with his speed. Rocky racks up the tackles in close but once the ball is in space he doesn't provide much pressure at all because he's one paced. Very different.

Trolling is the most misused word on BF. Simply commenting on someone’s well known injury issues is not trolling.
That’s like saying someone complaining about the USA gun laws is trolling!

I wouldn't say Smith's season was bad. Or in anyway worse than Stringers to be honest.

Roughly the same number of marks, inside 50s, goal assists and score involvements
Spent more time than Stringer as a mid i'll add
averaged 5 tackles a game (something we need)
Stringer got 9 extra goals

All in the same amount of games.

Given our preferred style of play, Smith is a great fit.
Strong running mid who is a goalkicker. That last part we struggle with from our midfield.

We did better out of this trade with 11 than we would have with the Dogs.
We should be able to land Saad through it.
Hopefully, the two clubs find middle ground on Stringer and everyone can walk away somewhat satisfied.

Rockliff the 2nd best 1 on 1 player statistically in the league behind Martin. Just saying.
