I heard Nick Maxwell pre-game on radio in essence say the knee injury just cost him having enough games under belt recently. Lets be honest. The gamble with Stevie J knee was worthy trying Devon this week, resting Stevie J up just in case they got through to grand final.

I think they really stuffed up at selection going too tall against Richmond small forward line and think Stevie J could back up again in another final when struggled with his body all year.
Anyway, they live and learn.
