Yeh get over it.

Funny to see you come out on BigFooty now, though I expect people shouldn't see much of you when England get knocked out.

****er.
Real mature from a moderator, funny to see me come on bigfooty now? What you mean when India get knocked out by minnows? :o

What a bad cricketer.

Awful dismissal last night.

I hope he hasn't built his new house yet after the Bangladesh game. :o

I'm still waiting to see his true greatness.
No, it wasn't an awful dismissal.

that delivery was as close to perfect as you'll get.

it would've troubled/got alot of batsman out.

knock his other performances, but not this one. it was a masterclass from Murali.

Flat track bully.
Oh hang on, thats the whole Indian team.
Dhoni will really struggle against the Aussies this summer, hope India bring out another keeper to replace him.
haha,

so are Australia flat track bullies?

you realise Australian pitches are arguably the flattest in the world these days?

and he'll struggle in Australia like the whole Indian batting line-up did last time they toured?

oh dear.

The same flat track bullies that have won the last two world cups?
The same ones that crush teams around the world.

India don't have a hope this summer. Sachin is past it, Ganguly is done and dusted. Kumble should of retired 12 months ago. No Laxman to save their arses this time around.

Be a good summer for the Aussie batsmen to increase their averages.

That was a gem of a delivery from Murali, Dhoni was walking without even waiting for the umps decision :D

Even though he had a stinker of a tournament, I still think he's a good player, after all, everyone's bound to have some bad tournaments, and Dhoni hasn't had many shockers...

huh?

who's calling Australia flat track bullies?

I just pointed out that these days, somewhat unfortunately Australian pitches are very, very flat and batsman friendly. That's fact.

As well as it doesn't change the fact that Australia have the best batsman (Ponting obviously) best batting line-up and more depth than any country in the world.

And India don't have a hope against Australia this summer, their bowling isn't good enough and Australia's batting will dominate. That would seem pretty obvious at this point.
So I'm not exactly sure what you're arguing.

Played right back
Shuffled right across in front of his stumps
Didn't pick the speed of the delivery
Didn't pick the turn of the delivery
Played right across the line instead of straight.

I give that shot 0 out of 10.

Shot was made to look much worse than it was by the quality of the delivery.

To be fair, the Aussies tend to perform on most pitches anyway.

A player like Dhoni will fail time after time on a seamers deck.

If Australia's pitches are so flat why are do our bowlers seem to get other sides out so easily...?

I'm not saying they don't.

As I said they have the best batsman, best batsmen and more quality of depth than any country.

But our pitches are flat as anywhere and if India are likely to perform anywhere away from home, Australia would be the most likely destination.

Saying that the quality of Australia's attack normally counters anything.

What about our bowling?

We destroy teams inside 4 days very regularly on the Australian flat tracks.
It's superior.

It'll be harder without Warne but Australia's bouncier wickets generally involve hitting the seam and bowling a good length. That's the key to success.

you can't answer that question yourself?

if you don't think Australia's pitches are as flat as anywhere these days you either don't watch/or know much about cricket.

but the answer to your question,

better batsmen, more capable, dominant, utilise the batting friendly conditions.

greater variety in bowling attack, the best bowling attack in the world.

It really isn't complicated.

It doesn't change the FACT Australian pitches are flat. Test match wickets do something for about the first 5 overs then offer nothing save for reverse swing later in the innings on occasions.

So we have the flattest wickets anywhere? But they are also the bounciest wickets anywhere?

The definition of a flat track is a pitch that is doing nothing at all, if a pitch is bouncy then it is doing something.

Perhaps re-think your argument and then come back.

India and Pakistan have the flattest pitches easily.

That's why f*ck heads like Inzamam and Sehwag have Test averages in the high 40's, even though they're not very good at all.

I think that SA pitches are bouncier and have more seam movement, especially Durban.

2 Points.

1) Yes. It was a cracker of a delivery first up. Pitched and sharply spun in, and once he went back, instead of come forward (which EVERY batsmen should do to Murali) he was absolutely doomed. He fell for the sucker punch first up, when he should've expected it, and Murali lured him in with perfection.

2) His past form of late has been one the wane, but I'd give him a tad more time before discarding him as a one hit wonder. Lanka I'm sure, and I, absolutely feared him when he came in, and this would be justified by their reaction when he was dismissed. He's ripped us apart a few times, but when he was gone, the game was over.

You ain't heard the last of Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
