the news i hear from my next door neighbours aunt's sister's masseur who plays tennis smoking cigars is that the councils except whittlesea all want to have the footy season go ahead. footy Vic also want the season to go ahead and the insurance companies want the season to go ahead. So what is the stumbling block?
Seems the councils are waiting to see what happens to with the state government and stage 4 restrictions so no matter what decision that they make they can blame someone else for the current situation. I wish our councils would have the balls to say sport is an important part of the social structure of the community and in particular football with its participation rates not only for the kids and seniors that play, but for the crowds the games generate is a vital cog in the community and should be played at all costs. Even if it means carting in water to make sure our grounds are playable.
I mean where is council sticking its head in regards to this one?
