On Brownlow night, during the votes for the Richmond Essendon Round 9 match, Demetriou called out "Richmond, S.Edwards, 1 vote."
Sure enough, Edwards' name appeared next to the number 1,
Unfortunately, it was also next to the Essendon logo.

Lucky Demetriou didn't say "Essendon, Shane Edwards."
