Because of Jordan but now follow someone else?

I remember watching a wizards game at all star against the Pacers (Tinsley got his first triple-double), and seeing jordan followers punching the air whenever Jordan did something good. I guessed that they didnt know any of the other wiz players.

So I wonder where all the bulls fans are now.

I considered myself a Michael Jordan fan, not a Bulls fan. I only cheered on the Bulls coz Jordan played for them. I cheered on Washington, because Michael played for them, but I was never a fan of the team.

I now support the Cleveland Cavaliers, not just LeBron James. I love Larry Hughes, Big Z, Anderson Varejao, Damon Jones, Drew Gooden, this team is going to one that no one will want to face come playoff team.

LeBron is obviously my favourite current player, but I support the Cavs first. And I have since the days Shawn Kemp first pulled on a Cavs jersey.

Derek “Jordan Stopper  ” Harper specifically brought into stop MJ in the play offs and the poster boy for the Cavs Craig Ehlo.

Mark Price was a gun and Brad Doughty would both be considered Hall of fame material. Cleveland like New York would have won a title had it not been for Chicago and MJ.

The good old days of Stacy King and Craig Hodges riding MJ coattails for a few rings. :D

I used to follow them but was not a supporter. Toni Kukoc is one of my all time favourite players who I used to follow religiously. Since he was playing with the bulls at the time, I watched a lot of their games but I was a bulls supporter.

I never really had a team until both Divac ended up in Sacramento and I decided I would follow the Kings. The things started looking up from there and we are back to average now. I miss the days when we had Vlade, Webber and J-Will were running the show :D

I started at the Lakers as a massive Magic fan, went to the bulls for Longley then jumped ship to the Wizards to watch Jordan make fools of men 20 years younger than him and now I'll follow Bogut anywhere he goes. I'll admit it I'm just an NBA bandwagener.

All this band-wagon talk I've never really taken to, you follow a team for whatever reason it may be and you stick with it...

I'll never changes my teams no matter how bad they go or where my (one-time) favourite players go, i.e: Baron Davis, Alonzo Mourning, etc.

Players come and go but the team will stay the same......

Go Hornets:eek:

when i was a kid i used to love mike, but i didnt mind the bulls however, my favorite team was charlotte. when they changed their name from hornetts to bobcats i just kinda lost interest. im a fan of the lakers now, not just because of there 3-peat or of shaq (god rest his soul in miami) and kobe, but just because i like how they are run and i like there rep etc. they are a good team to like.

Didn't Charlotte Hornets move to New Orleans and became New Orleans Hornets which they still are??????

Charlotte Bobcats is entirely different franchise. Hornets that you used to follow are still known as hornets

Thanks to cyclone Katrina they are now the Oklahoma City Hornets.

It should be 3 full seasons before the New Orleans can expect the side to return, but saying that the owner did move the side from Charlotte, North Carolina so he could very easily leave them in Oklahoma

Maybe.

Back when I started getting into basketball (1993-94), everyone went for either Chicago or Orlando, or more specifically Jordan or Shaq. I wanted to be different so I looked at the league standings, and just chose a random team that was doing quite well (I didn't want to support a bunch of no-hopers!). And its been the Supersonics ever since.

Never a Bulls fan, thought there team of the 90's was greatly over rated.
Never a Jordan fan, thought the player was over rated.

Been loyal to Lakers since the day Magic was pick #1.

I started watching the NBA 1986 season (Jordan's 2nd year). I watched a few of their late season games and watched Jordans 63 point night out agains the Celtics. I was an instand Jordan fan!

However I mainly started following the Bulls once they drafted Scottie Pippin, so for me it was Jordan and Pippin that made me a bulls fan. Once they left I almost stopped following the NBA.

Now Bogut is playing I follow the Bucks games.

I wouldnt say averaging 20+ points per game for a team he had interests in, plus doing heaps for sponsorship and crowd figures 'making a fool of himself'
