jordan only made a fool of himself i think.

so you're a piston or spurs supporter now?
How did he make a fool of himself? He was scoring 20 points at 40 years old with shot knees, proving that he was more than just a supreme athlete.
My bandwagoner point was that I didn't feel strongly about many teams since the lakers. I couldn't support them because Kobe is a ********head.
I've never liked a team in any sport because they dominated, I'm usually the opposite. Like most Australians I'll follow Bogut wherever he goes he'll be a freak.:thumbsu:

Pretty much the same, i used to follow (very loosely) the Jazz because of John Stockton - lot of respect for how he played the game.

Now i will follow the Bucks, but more for Bogut.

I find it hard to be loyal to any NBA teams when the only thing that stays constant over a 5 year period are the reactionist GMs! I seem to change NBA teams every few of years, because I would rather support a team that is kind of settled - especially with the limited TV coverage.

I supported the Bulls as a kid, but also had a soft spot for the Hornets as my fave player was Larry Johnson. The last few years I have been supporting the Kings and still do really - but I haven't seen them play this year (lucky me really). I really enjoy watching the Pistons and Suns play.

If I could watch NBA everyday, I would follow a team more passionately, but until then I just love watching the game.

I wouldve prefered it if he retired with dignity, and stayed out of the game. everyone has their day. yes we all love jordan but when he came back i felt that it wasnt right. him in anything bar a bulls singlet is wrong IMO. as i said, shouldve stayed away and let the next generation take centre stage.

im a lakers fan, have been since nick van exel rained jumpers. been lucky with titles (shaq/kobe) but no accepting the crap theyre dishing up.

and in the words of marv albert... YES! we're all bucks fans now.

Yeah it was wrong seeing him in the wizards uniform but I learned more about the game from watching Jordan and Magic after they lost their athleticism than I have from anything else I've seen from the NBA. Watching a 40 year old Jordan operating in the low post was awesome as it could be copied by average players, as opposed to his peak when he'd just jump 4 foot high and dunk on some sap. For those of us who are on the Bucks bandwagon how lucky are we! What a team!

i started watching basketball around 92-93. even though the bulls were the best team at the time, channel 10 were showing replays of the lakers-celtics finals of the mid 80's. and i fell in love with the lakers - magic, kareem, worthy, cooper, scott and who could forget - kurt rambis! i watched the 93 playoffs, where we nearly managed to knock off the #1 ranked suns, and even though we lost, i was hooked.

since then, i've seen had a few favourite players come and go - jones (i wish we never traded him), ceballos, van exel, horry. i was so excited to get kobe, who i knew would be awesome. now, it's just a matter of waiting for the next championship. but the way our squad is looking at the moment, that is a long way off.

Unfortunately I can't see us winning another championship until Kobe retires or is traded. Or incarcerated.

Started following the NBA around 1988. The team I followed usually changed with my favourite player. Was a Jordan fan for a while but then moved onto David Robinson. I despise Tim Duncan and don't get me started with Bruce Bowen.

Always considered myself a suns supporter (back to the KJ, Chambers and Hornacek (sp?)) days and I love the way they play now and Amare would be my favourite player.

Its not like I live in a US city and loyalty is a dirty word in US sports anyway.

Always been a Laker fan and always will be.

However I am also an Aussie born in Croatia and therfore I also follow both Australian and Croatian players within NBA.

Hence in my time following the game I have followed with interest Nets (Drazen Petrovic - my favorite player of all time), Bulls (Kukoc and Longley), Celtics (Radja and Vrankovic0 and now Bucks.

I still do keep an eye out for Bulls these days though I guess old habits die hard.

Was a rockets fan. Loved Hakeem and then Clyde the glide came in. Was all good, now it's all shit :p I guess we'll see how we go against Utah. I had more of a soft spot for kemp and Seattle then the Bulls. They were freakish though.
