It looks like the Liberal Party has won this election. I wonder if the Carbon Tax lost them the election. I think also the push for gay marriage may have cost them big time also. The religion vote was with Abbott as i think many didn't trust a atheist who may have soften the view of society to change things.Kevin Cat has done a terrific campaign for the Libs.:thumbsu:

Not sure if serious.

You give too much credit to the dumb arse masses.

Simple shit like channel 9 hiring Latham, the Labour leaks and Gillard being a backstabbing mole were the difference.

Was lost in QLD.

The backstabbing was another key in their coffin.I guess most people would see that as a suspicious act to do behind someone back.

Yeah. Rudd was a victim of his own success and that filthy ranga knifed him a good month too soon. Bad move.

The aussie George W is a fake and a douche. Has no policy apart from savings and boats. Who wants a leader running around trying not to fk up in everything he says or does? Is a clown.

Oh well, the public got the result they deserve as there is little distinguishing the parties anyhow. Not a bad result in the end and gives hope for the next band of dead shits from both sides.

Gillard has set women back, the party back and failed to understand the fickleness of woman voters.

The overwhelming majority of Australians voted for parties on the 'left' of politics.

What cost the Labor party was trying to be Liberal-lite party and not representing those that put them into power.

In Australia you don't get voted into power you get voted out. For the first time in a very long time, a party was voted out and the opposition were so unappealing they couldn't manage to get voted in.

Labor need to wake up and realise who they represent.

The tide started changing when turnbull was ousted in favour of abbott over the carbon tax/trading scam. The implosion of the alp further helped the coalition gain traction.

The next three years are going to be interesting with a another party of imbeciles (complementing the current big two) holding the balance of power in the senate and international economic problems sending ripples through our economy.

Dont underestimate the power on the colony of the budgie smuggler and stopping a few boats.

The revolving chair was bound to help a leader of the opposition at some stage.

Channel 9 getting Latham would have hurt the ALP. 2 recent leaders shafting their own party.

The Rudd betrayal was hard to come back from, especially when the victim is forced to get off his hospital bed and campaign for the unattractive bogan ranga, atheist, possible dyke with no kids. Working families was a fairly powerful slogan in recent times that she couldn't run with.

Abbott sealed it with the lies about work choices but set the wheels in motion already, stating he can't be trusted.
