Its a pity they traded for Prestia we like trading with Richmond too... Hampson and Yarran being two standouts.

Please don't stop trading with us leave all other clubs alone. Remember you always want to rip us a new one and win in all trades.

that Grigg for Collins trade is in the hall of fame.

Thanks Carlton:thumbsu:

On Prestia, I don't want to panic, but on his own as a player he looks miles off.

Has helped the team though, and if he cost what Caddy cost, it wouldn't be an issue.

Didnt have a preseason. Has played 6 games for us. Let's see how he's going in 12 months time.

He should be dropped to find some form and fitness, but he's a long term player.
Pretty much this. Melbourne were linked to him over the years and I haven't seen too much making me think we should have gone for him. However I rate him as a player and although slightly overs you can't be sure who you'll get at 6. Plus his inclusion has helped Dusty and Cotchin.

This place is so reactive. I'm surprised there's not a "did west Coast make a mistake trading Callum Sinclair?" thread after he successfully took a mark on Saturday.

When he gets a pre-season under his belt he will be good for Richmond. Even though we seemed to get good value for him, was always a top notch bloke, and wish he didn't leave.

Admitted a couple weeks ago is nursing a knee injury, that with no preseason under his belt he was always going to be a couple months behind everyone else fitness wise. Needs a rest, but what we paid was fair.

Nope. Extremely happy with our off season. Very silly and reactionary thread

Using a points perspective:
2016 Pick 6 + 2017 2nd Round Pick for Prestia + 2016 Pick 24
2016 Pick 24 + 2016 Pick 64 for Caddy + 2016 Pick 56
=
2016 Pick 6 + 2016 Pick 64 + 2017 2nd Round for Prestia + Caddy + 2016 Pick 56
~ 1751 + 101 + 725 (502to948, using 725 for middle point) for Prestia + Caddy + 194
~ Pick 3 (2577-194=2383) for Prestia and Caddy

Would I trade Prestia and Caddy for McCluggage? Given our list needs, no way

Hampson for a 2nd, that 2nd traded for Docthery.
Yarran for pick 19
Thanks Richmond

Pick 6 for Prestia, now that's a future Hall of famer
Factually incorrect

We traded you 32 for Hampson
32 you traded to Sydney for Andrejs Everitt and Pick 39 (Cameron Giles)

It's a pathetic person that takes pleasure from a player being forced to retire due to mental health issues. Troll elsewhere please

Richmond had been banging on about a war chest that they were going to use to recruit top line talent. Given the disaster of the Yarran situation and they were desperate for Treloar & missed out, they were almost obligated to make the Prestia deal happen whatever the cost given he was keen to join the Tigers.

He will be good for them long term but is coming from a long way back with injuries, he's barely played footy over the last three years (28 games out of his last 50) so will take time to get back to his best.

this just is not true, and is a pathetic attempt by you to rewrite history.

Pathetic really.

The pick we gave you for Hampson you got Everett. I reckon we won that trade as well.

The yarran deal was a disaster, however I don't blame Yarran for having mental issue after having to spend 10 years at Carlton.

10 years at Carlton now who's rewriting history, 12 months at Richmond and he wanted to get as far away from footy as possible, plus pretty sure we got Everett for a 2nd round down grade.
Enjoy Prestia he looks as cooked as Daisy.

It's a pity that points are completely irrelevant given you had no use for them. It's just a nice way to make yourself feel better about the trade.

Instead of some imaginary nonsense scenario where you had the choice between Caddy + Prestia or Mcluggage, why don't you just talk about what you gave away in real terms for them? Pick 6 (Scrimshaw) and your 2017 second is much simpler and actually reflects what you gave up.

yep this is correct. The second round downgrade was the pick you got for Hampson.
