Honestly, it bothers me. Certainly shouldn't have been a free.

Does cops highs a lot of the time through smart positioning when going for the ball. Umps will catch on. That's the Geelong still in him.

Just seems a tad hypocriticsl of leppa to practically accuse the swans of cheating, when im pretty sure hes not making calls to the umpiring department letting them know that christenson is pulling these stunts week in week out.

I like the lions and honestly think they have a lot of young super talented kids, however its not very professional from their coach

i think this is more to do with how amateur and inept the AFL can be and usually is. we kind of forget it for weeks, even a month and a half, but then they remind us that we think we are so much bigger and more professional then we actually are. all our rules are just murky and "up for interpretation" and when something is majorly stuffed up we sweep it under the rug which then begs the question what's really going on. i don't know, maybe appearing inept and amateur is just a clever guise

No they didn't. The ball had moved down there pretty quickly. The stretcher delay meant more could get down there and man up/fill gaps and it also meant they weren't one man down.

Nah, for some unknown reason we appeared to have decided to defend the lead rather than attack. There were a bunch of Swans in the vicinity.

All irrelevant though - just a simple umpiring mistake.

Disagree with this. Lions were trying to keep it in and Swans reluctant to take it out due to the tougher deliberate calls recently. IMO there was a good chance of it coming free before more players flooded back.

Neither player wanted to pick it up, so the moment either did they'd be tackled out of bounds anyway.

Same Hawks posters every time there is the slightest chance of laying the boot in to Sydney. Giving the rest a bad name.

Can't say I personally thought he was straight out accusing you of cheating. Just that the call was absolute rubbish. He brought up the possibility of it and quickly moved on.

No I would say it was a very thinly veiled accusation of cheating. Maybe take a look at what he said again.

Of course he wouldn't definitively state that we cheated or had intent to cheat, but he sure enough implied by all other means short of explicitly saying it.
He's a disgrace for calling Sydney cheaters when it's the ump should've waited for a stoppage. It's especially laughable considering all the goals the Lions kicked from that staging flog Christenson.
