i suppose if i could have chosen out of teh two i would have chosen Burns to play this week rather than didak! But didak will be a massive loss to us this week, he has been in great form and his accuracy and class in front of goals will be sorely missed! I think that burns is however in better form and is more important to our structure as he can play in the middle up forward and even at CHF!

I would have chosen Didak.
Apparently that bumbling ******** Balme has said we won't appeal , I'll assume he hasn't met with those higher up and discussed the matter yet......

I would have chosen Didak, because he is the only forward in red hot form at the moment. But having Burns in the team this week is a huge bonus.

Didak should have taken the 1 week, he wasnt going to get off that....although they tried to downgrade the grading to get him a reprimand, reckless was the appropriate grading IMO

was Burns cleared or was it downgraded to a reprimand? either way, its great Scotty will be playing this week although i thought he would be anyway, was confident the tribunal trip would be at least semi-successful with a reduction in penalty

Didak will be tough to cover

Didak's record against Brisbane:
Games Kicks Marks H.Balls Disp Goals Pts Tack
7 6.6 3.7 1.9 8.4 1.1 1.0 1.3

Most touches: 13 (GF 2003)
Most goals: 3 (GF 2003)
Most innaccurate game: 1-4 (Round 4 2003)

Scotty's record against Brisbane (Lions):
Games Kicks Marks H.Balls Disp Goals Pts Tack
13 11.8 5.2 8.8 20.7 0.8 0.3 3.3

Most touches: 30 (Round 7 1999), 29 (Round 9 2000), 28 (Round 3 2004)
Most goals: 2 (Round 22 1999, Round 9 2000, GF 2003)
Most tackles: 11 (GF 2002)

On pure numbers alone, I prefer Scotty, but you can't argue with Did's current form (over the past five games):
Kicks - 56 (at 11.2)
Marks - 24 (at 4.8)
H'balls - 15 (at 3)
Goals - 15 (at 3)
Points - 6 (at 1.2)
Tackles - 8 (at 1.6)

Let's just hope he picks that up in two weeks...

Spot on suspension.

1 week Didak for being stupid and doing such a thing.
1 week Collingwood (passed onto to Didak) for being stupid enough to take this to the tribuneral.

what a joke some of the stupidest post ever seen on here

didak had a right to appeal it he should not have been reported in the first place there was nothing it besides a **************** trying to milk a free kick.

this happens all the time now they should report every one of these there will be about 20-30 players up every tuesday.

look at gerig gets 1 weeks for a love tap then takes a proper swipe at harris in sunday and gets nothing be odd looks like they might have been paying him back for stuffing up earlier.

Look at hunter from the eagles???? punches williams in the nuts gets 2 weeks fights it and then gets off what a joke this whole thing is i hope that they wake up to them selves and with this appeal justice is done and didak only gets a slap on the wrist.
