Treloar zooms past Pendlebury into 3rd spot. Grundy keeps on keeping on and now has an unassailable lead for the H & A season.

Wills got mentions off a few voters which means the only players not to get a single vote from anyone this season are:

1 gamers Noble, Appleby and Madgen
3 gamer Crocker and
17 gamer Thomas

It's getting tight for the minor placings with Crisp, Treloar and Pendles all within 2 of each other. Grundy is now safe in the lead unless until we play at least 2 finals.

Thomas broke his duck by getting his first mention of the season from any voter, leaving Madgen and Crocker the only ones to play multiple games and not get any votes at all.

Table is getting a bit big to fit in properly.

Pendlebury takes back second spot, while Elliott gets his first votes since Round 1.

Grundy hits 50 votes, an amazing effort.

If you're struggling for room you could always drop the leaderboard column. It's just a summary of the TOTAL column anyway. Make us do some work for ourselves.

Hopefully this looks ok as I’m restricted to using my iPad as I’m currently on holiday (life is tough).

If there’s anything more relaxing than heading to Fiji 🇫🇯 the day after your team has surprisingly secured a top 4 spot I’d like to see it. :airplane::palmtree:

Grundy continued on his merry way with a crazy 6th BOG and Pendles consolidated second spot. There was an equal season low 10 players who received mentions with a pretty clear cut top 5.

What we have long since known was going to happen is now official - despite missing out on a vote this week, Brodie Grundy has an unassailable lead and will be the Didaka Medallist for 2019. This will no doubt take pride of place on his mantlepiece next to his Copeland Trophy and his several 'Man Bun of the Year' awards. Congrats Brodes! P.S. Leave room for the additional silverware to come your way in the next few weeks.

Pendlebury's burst of form late in the year has him almost sewing up 2nd, with Crisp the only player capable of overtaking him. Treloar and Steele look to be fighting Crispy for the last spot on the podium.

Speaking of Treloar, he surely takes the award for best game by a player who didn't receive a single vote from any poster for his effort in the QF. I think we (myself included) judge him very harshly.

Also, Howe scored his 1st BOG this week, becoming the 11th player to do so this season. Not a bad spread when you consider Grundy has had 6 on his own.

Preliminary Final v GWS

5.
B Grundy 74
4. D Moore 66
3. J Howe 55
2. J Crisp 49
1. B Maynard 37

then followed

R Wills 10
J Elliott 8
S Pendlebury 3
J Stephenson 2
W Hoskin-Elliott 1

manicmagpie and thus it’s completed; many thanks for your assistance, really appreciated

End of another season and this is the final leaderboard:

752325

Grundy ends with yet another best on ground - an amazing 7th time this season. He polled in a ridiculous 16 of the 24 games to totally dominate throughout. He was equally good in Wins and Losses. Our season was split exactly 2/3 wins and 1/3 losses, as were Grundy's votes. As worthy a winner as you can get.

Pendles defied the aging process to claim second, albeit with only 2/3 of Grundy's total. He polled in half of the games, as did the third placed Crisp. I don't think anyone can argue with those two being the most consistent and dependable of players.

For anyone interested, here's the total number of votes received each week by every player:

752333

As you can see, Grundy had only 1 game where he failed to get a vote from any poster.

At the other end of the scale, Josh Thomas played 22 games for one measly vote in one game.

Thanks to Saintly Viewed for organising the votes and threads each week. Also thanks again to robertg22 for the template for the leaderboard.

Brilliant work manicmagpie

With great thanks and appreciation.

Thanks for the efforts all throughout the year Saintly Viewed and manicmagpie.

Some interesting reading with that second table, Treloar in particular I think. From my perspective, his best year yet. Undersold somewhat by the faithful though, it appears

The Grundy Treloar quinella for the Copeland wouldn't be paying a lot

Well done everyone and Grundy. The prelim stood out a bit with Grundy named BOG but many critics saying he was average and that Mumford did well against him.

Interesting to line it up against the Copeland Trophy results.
First 4 in order, but Maynard's 5th place Copeland result was a long way different to the Didaka Medal placings.

The Copeland rewards consistency and playing every game.

Maynard got noms from individual posters here almost every week from round 7 onwards, but usually not enough to get into the tallied votes.

No surprises that the likes of De Goey and Moore placed much higher on our board as they alternated vote catching performances with missing games.

Ditto Phillips 7th place.
