5. Darcy Moore - glued the defence together and I don't think he was outbodied/marked all night
4. Adam Treloar - squandered some opportunities but ultimately was still very good I thought.
3. Jamie Elliott - three class goals set us up at half time, even if it wasn't to be
2. Jack Crisp - would have been really good if he nailed that goal on the run but oh well, still ran hard all night and provided opportunities
1. Dayne Beams - best of the rest. Put up some good ball for the forwards which they couldn't swallow, and kicked a much needed goal in the last

Treloar was great apart from almost breaking the VFL/AFL all time clanger record and dropping about 5 simple marks because he heard footsteps.

Probably in our worst 3 players for the game, getting high disposals doesn't mean you play well,

Tough to even pick five good players. Treloar's was the worst 30+ possession game I've ever seen. Most of our players were down.

Actually, Moore should get the 5,4,3,2 & 1

5. Darcy Moore
4.

5 - Moore
4 - Roughead
3 - Elliott
2 - Crisp
1 - Grundy

Could raffle the last two spots but those were the best of the rest imo.

5. D Moore
4. C Mayne
3. J Aish
2. J Elliott
1. S Pendlebury

Edit: Reviewing game, I’ve erred in not having Moore higher up, sorry Darcy.
I’m rusty too.

J Roughead probably stiff to miss a vote or three;
Treloar could have pushed for better players but made some blues, great shame for us.
Langdon, Crisp were ok too.

On watching replay Darcy did the most. Good game.

Always better to call it on what you see not just go with the crowd voices.
I was there, he played well. That’s how it should be called. People can agree or disagree. The end.

5 Moore
He is the only one who I think deserves any votes. Elliott looked really dangerous without doing that much. Langdon was about par. Crisp and Treloar were in everything, but jeez their ball handling and use was costly. Everyone else was well below expectations.

I didn't say Mayne didn't play well, I thought he played well for his standards. I'm still in shock posters have him in their top 5 players on the ground last night, as stated in my original post. The End!

5. moore
4. elliott
3. mayne

That's it. No other player deserved votes.

CFC2010 look who I gave 5 to. Who would have thunk it.

How anyone can put Grundy in the votes is mind blowing to me.

I would only give votes to Moore and Elliott and Treloar in this game......harsh but fair IMO.

Welcome to the Moore party my friend.......may it last till the end of the last game in 2019.
