A few will be stiff to miss

5. Brody Mihocek
4. Adam Treloar - don't care what the critics say. Absolute work horse and he doesn't get beaten. So crucial in the last ten minutes.
3. Brodie Grundy
2. Jordan De Goey
1. James Aish

HM: Maynard, Cox, Phillips, Pendlebury

Go Pies

5. Mihocek
4. Pendlebury
3. De Goey
2. Phillips
1. Crisp
Cox was hugely important in our win tonight but couldn't sqeeze him in to the votes.

5. S Pendlebury (captains tackles, contested wins, direction just pips Mihocek)
4. B Mihocek (just gets the business done)
3. A Treloar (the workhorse)
2. J Crisp (so consistent)
1. J De Goey (difference maker)

Great shout out to S Sidebottom (best game at his kind of level)

With mentions to Grundy, Roughead, Greenwood,

Edit: now votes for De Goey when he goes he goes good. Difference maker.

Aish terrific too.

Nice game the Noble man.

Hard to pick just 5, which is a nice feeling.

5. Crisp
4. Mihocek
3. De Goey
2. Sidebottom
1. Maynard

Pendles, Aish, Treloar and Grundy all unlucky.

5. Sidebottom - really got his hands dirty, used the ball well, was really important late in the game in a number of 50-50 contests.

4. Mihocek - kept us in the game early, helped win it for us in the end.

3. Roughead - outstanding job on Kennedy without much support. Could have easily slipped Crisp in here and I wouldn't have batted an eyelid.

2. Pendlebury - what.more can be said about him. Gun and did the job both offensively and defensively in the second half.

1. DeGoey - the spark. Brilliant almost solo effort to get a clearance, gut run deep forward and pounce on the loose ball from a marking contest to snag a really classy goal.

Apologies to Crisp, Treloar, Grundy, Aish , Cox.

5. Brody Mihocek
4. Steele Sidebottom
3. James Aish
2. Jordan De Goey
1. Adam Treloar

Unlucky: Crisp (good enough to get the 5 on any other night IMO).

I thought Mihocek had one of the best individual performances of our season, up there with Grundy's 3 ruck dominations (against Bulldogs x 2 and St. Kilda) as well as Pendlebury on ANZAC day and Sidebottom against St. Kilda. Checkers clear BOG for mine.

There’s going to be more players unlucky to miss out as I can remember.

5: Mihocek - was the key player in the side tonight. Was fantastic as both the linkman and as a forward target. Great grab in the last minute to seal the game.
4: Pendles - a true captain’s game.
3: Treloar - amazing work rate and just kept on going. His efforts in the last to continually stop WC getting the ball away from contests was phenomenal.
2: Crisp - the best set of steak knives ever.
1: De Goey - keeps flashing in with moments of pure brilliance and great importance.

Cannot believe I can’t find room for Steele, Maynard, Aish, Phillips & Grundy who all deserve recognition.

5 Crisp
4 Mihocek
3 Greenwood
2 Sidey
1 Treloar
After watching the game again, I can't understand how I missed Greenwood - solid all night and was a rock down back after Moore limped off. Maynard unlucky to miss also, as were Pendles, Roughie and DeGoey.

5. The Check
4. Crisp
3. Treloar
2. De Goey
1. Sidebottom

Few players definitely stiff.

5. Pendlebury
4. Mihocek
3. Crisp
2. Treloar
1. DeGoey

..... I can’t believe I can’t find a spot for Aish, Maynard, Sidebottom, Grundy or Phillips!

Unlike the last 2 weeks where it was hard to find 5 that deserve votes, this week it's hard to pick the best 5 out of 10 players who deserve them.

5. De Goey - when he goes near the ball, good things happen. If he gets more consistent, will win a Brownlow in the next 5 years. Absolute star.
4. Maynard - When Moore went down he stepped up and shut down Darling. Undersized, the kid gives everything.
3. Miochek - Took every chance that came his way. Best forward on the ground.
2. Greenwood - Just kills himself for the jumper, not the best user of the ball but gives his all.
1. Pendles - Great captain's game. Could have easily had the 5 votes.

Apologies to Treloar, Crisp, Roughead, Aish, Grundy, Sidebum.

It's things like the Stephenson incident that can derail a season, but it's wins like that one that can put it back on track.

Go pies!

5. Mihochek and it's not even close
4. Roughead (kept Kennedy goalless qho tesrs us up
3. Pendlebury
2. Sidebottom
1. Maynard (after being shifted on to Darling after Moore went down basically kept him statless)
