The old enemy defeated.

Beating Carlton is always satisfactory.

We move to within 1 win of them in the all times games between them.

But now it’s voting time.

Who gets your 5 votes?

Then 4,
Then 3 and so till 1.

No postals, no absentees just voting.

Voting is not compulsory.

Over to you.

apologies to Treloar, De Goey.

Once I watch the replay I might edit slightly, but that’s my instinctive feel as of tonight.

Grundy is a magnificent player.
Phillips doesn’t get enough love.

Cometh the hour cometh the De Goey.

Oh we beat Carlton, that’s what matters, the rest mere details.

5: Sidebottom - might be over correcting after leaving him out other weeks but thought he was the most important player out there
4: Grundy - was a dominant figure but loses out on top spot due to the number of hit outs going straight to Carlton
3: Phillips - was terrific worker all game and unlucky with the first of those 50m penalties (not the second, though)
2: Brown - starting to really come good. Just needs to nail some set shots. Great hands and evasive manoeuvres.
1: Pendles - half our marks inside 50 were precision passes from Pendles. Only drops down due to being responsible for Cripps for a lot of the game.

Apologies to Treloar for his immense last quarter.
