Didn't vote as I like both, however my preference is barbecued! Yes, you read that right. Cut them in half length way and then cook them on the barby. Any sauce goes. Gotta love the dimmies!

Dam now I have a massive craving for dim sims. Thanks alot. :(

Lol.. another thought.. not all dim sims are nice... some are evil. From a certain chinese shops (which will remain nameless), I dunno if they're homemade but my gawd they were just plain awful. My local chinese shop's Dim sims are really good tho, thankfully.

Prefer steamed, but if I'm at South Melbourne Markets I'll buy 3 of each. All smothered in the chilli and soy sauce provided.:D
Definitely. I prefer fried but SM's steamed ones are so much win... I haven't made the trip for a while but I will do so soon, nothing beats half a dozen with chilli sauce (don't like soy) on a cold Melbourne day! ;)

Steamed but the best ones I've ever had were fried , from a Chinese joint in Bankstown .

Sauce of any kind is an additive , not a cure .
