Live around the corner to Sth Melbourne's dimmy store, definitely steamed. IMO deep frying is raping that magic fist of pork and herbs.

But if it's packet rubbish - fried is acceptable.

Depends on where I am, if I'm at home or at the local footy, I love steamed dim sims (At home I put on Kikkoman Soy Sauce, they make them taste so much better than the soy sauce you get at the footy).

But, when I'm at a fish & chip shop, I tend to have fried dimmies.

But, in any case dimmies whether they be steamed, fried or barbecued, are always good.

Dimmies rule.

I have more steamed dim sims because they are healthier, but nothing better than a fried dim sim. Soy Sauce is good, but as someone suggested, tomato sauce works well too :p

Either kick arse.
Generally when I'm eating dimmies I'm not too worried about the health factor....

hence fried.

I cant believe this hasnt been mentioned yet....

I regularly have steamed dimmys on a buttered roll with soy sauce. Brilliant!

I have a mate who will have a sausage roll in a bread roll, twisties in a roll, and he puts his meat pie with sauce on his salad roll... You should see him eat it :D

I really just added those in to defend having a steamed dimmy roll. Try it, they're awesome

Kinda like going to Maccas and ordering a salad. What is the point??

Steamed NO sauce FTW for me. And if i had a dollar for everytime soy sauce magically appeared even tho i said NO SS... i would be a freaken millionaire.
