Whilst I think JLo was disappointing until the 4th, Ross is absolutely not pantsing anyone with his strategies.

Longmuir didn’t even make a sub… tactically inept, and Ross absolutely belted him - saints are just a whole lot less talented and that shone through in the end.

If we had a coach that’s tactically sound, we win by 6+ goals.

Great mark from Amiss at the end there with the dump kick coming out of defence but after watching him throughout the game I really think a spell at Peel is needed to get his confidence up. He is shot of confidence and struggling. Not taking ball out in front and a little hesitant with his leads. He is being hindered by the defenders but he needs to get going and he just isn’t at the moment.

It kept them in the game, coming down to the last clearance with 50 odd secs left. I dislike the boss but with the team he had at his disposal and where they are on the ladder he out coached us.

Darcy’s last quarter was epic. Good to see the big fella up and running.

This game to me is further proof that when you have a player like Jackson, you're not playing a traditional two rucks. Darcy was immense and when Dogga was forward he was a problem for the Saints.
That said, we don't won that without Clark.

How is the right call to persist with the same midfield that got absolutely polaxed for 3 quarters?
Credit where it’s due, our star players lifted, but Longmuir did not lift a finger in the coaches box to try and win the game… he stuck with plan A, the only plan he had and luckily for him the good players dragged us across the line.

He was powerless to stop exactly the same thing that happened in round 8 happen again..

Fyfe is not ready for where that game was at, it was absolutely the right call. The6 turned it around in the last moving Serong a bit back, getting Noddy onball and sticking with Darcy over Jackson onballl

My mistake Treacy, and also Darcy in fairness was very good in the last… I’ll happily admit that.
Good players turned up when the game was there to be won and got it done.

The fact it was even close is purely down to the superiority in the St Kilda coaching box.. talent wise they aren’t a shade on our side, but are far better coached.
