I thought so, we got 19,149 today in pretty clear weather, didn't rain all match (all morning) and it wasn't cold at all.........even though it was Port Adelaide i thought it was pretty low considering the positions of the two teams coming into the game.

Btw- we got 19,362 v Port last year in horrible conditions.....

I just remembered that the annoucer said something about Geelong reserved seat ticket holders will be able to put their seat up for sale if they are unable to attend the following weeks match......i think they said it will come into affect in August or something ??

Anyway, this is a great idea because it will allow more people who want a seat to attend the match who might not have because they might have to stand (wimps :p )..........gives extra $$ to the club and will boost att. figures.

Not too disappointing, imo.

Live against the gate.. rain was threatening all day. And to top it off we were playing the Paps werent we?? :D

Would like to see WAY more Geelong people at next weeks game. (Still recall being seriously outnumbered the last time we played the Dogs)

Is living in Tasmania a good enough excuse?

Live against the gate on TV, potential of rain...

Sadly, that's why.

Would rather go to 1 game at Skilled than 10 at the Dome.

Was the general seating sold out again? Did they have to turn people away???

Lots of empty members seats particuly in the Brownlow Stand and around the public seating.

Live against the gate is always difficult to attract a crowd, and the inclement weather over the w/e would not have helped.

It was also against an interstate team too!

We will be outnumbered again....didn't you see on the news yesterday, in the Western Suburbs they were trading knifes and swords for Bulldog tickets.......not only will be outnumbered but probably have the sh$t kicked out of us as well. :D

There was only thirty thousand odd at the Collingwood game. It was supposed to rain all day so I suppose it put peolple off. I got well rugged up and absolutely boiled.

Woops, just realised when i got home it was live against the gate :o ....explains the crowd....

Hoping for a BIG Geelong turnout this weekend v the Dogs, should get 40k+ easily, with both teams doing alright and the Dogs eyeing off a top 4 finish........hopefully we won't be as outnumbered compared to the game earlier on this season......it was alright where i was sitting, would have been a lot worse if it were say Pies fans :D

Btw- the standing room was quite empty, plenty of spare seats in the Ford stand and the most empty seats i've seen in the Doug Wade stand for a while...........although it does come back to live against the gate...stupid me why didn't i think of that!

I am going to the game on Sunday. YEAH!
Hopefully this time people don't spill water on my flag and all over the ground. (I nearly slipped over it was NOT funny)
I noticed that there were alot of spaces left in the standing room also.
