On the couch tonight it was revealed the tribunal said Marty was hit on the body not the head. Mate are the tribunal blind or something OMG how wasn't that hit not on the head. There's no point complaining though cause we

1. The tribunal are a bunch of crack heads

2. Interstate teams (especially Sydney) always get a better deal that Vic. Teams.

Check out some of the stuff thats going on over at the Sydney board. 'Welcome to AFL footy Irish Boy' and rubbish like that.

Surely they must know that they're getting an armchair run from the AFL. Again.

I'm sure he can handle it. When you grace the field you have to expect 1 or 2 of those every now and then.

Honestly, that sort of stuff doesn't bother me. He should have missed maybe 1 more, but it's no big deal, we got the points and ruined their run at a premiership. Marty wins. And he got up and didn't show weakness. Just another good experience for the bloke new to the game:thumbsu:

He now knows that the big hits don't kill you.

And yet Rocca's bump earlier in the year was deemed to be directly to the head.

There is no possible way to see a pattern in the MRP's decision-making process.

Hopefully Sydney will get their due next week and throughout the finals....
Unfortunately I cannot see how the entire tribunal can get what they deserve...f**king disgrace the lot of them.

It was interesting to see Jerard Healy On the Couch. Being a Swans supporter / ex player he looked a tad embarassed when Mike questioned how the MRT saw it as not being contact to the head.

Um....er....yer!!!!! Can't answer that Mike!!!:o

I really hope you guys meet them in the finals and send them packing, for some reason you have the wood over these guys. (No pun inteneded...the Wood):p

I watched the incident again yesterday while watching a replay of te match

How he got only 1 week is beyond me, that deserved 4-6 IMO

Even the commentator said as soon as he did it "Thats his season over"

If Hawthorn have any decency they will do what the tribunal is unwilling to do and give Amon a nice long rest....the footy gods will require swift retribution for the flacid effort of the tribunal.
