Not at all. The first half was disgraceful and if you dont think so then you need your head read. The second half which actually ran and had a crack as a team, which was great to watch and will be the first to congratulate the boys on a great second half.

Essendon, supposedly playing for a finals berth, were getting smashed by a team that has finished bottom two 5 of the last 6 seasons. Carlton tanks cos they just need to look competitive but at all costs avoid winning, we come back and win.

Mate say what want, belittle the win all you want, but the point is, tanking or not, we still got the win. And this will give us confidence heading into richmond next week, and eagles. And btw, carlton's recent form hasnt been all that bad. Yes they may be tanking, but have shown signs of upseting top 4 teams (port)

In Lloyds post-game interview he said Hirdy fired them all up at half time which sparked the turn around.

I know he hasn't coached before but surely if he can turn the team around like that he's got to be looked at as coaching potential. Not saying he should be coach but would have loved to see sheedy mentor him for a year or two then hand over!

Back to todays game, Campo was great (shame on all you who didn't want him to play) and McPhee showed a glimpse of what he is capable of, think where he played on the ground might have a bit to do with that.

Having just got back from the game....do any of you go to the games??? red and black is spot on.
We were atrocious!We were wondering if Carlton were remaking the "Desert Fox" there was so much tanking going on.In the second half the message went out to Carlton to look good but dont win and you could see it all over the ground (It helps to be at the ground) I had the binoculars on the coaches box in the last quarter and the Carlton staff were having a BBQ
