I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but thought it was significant news that Disney + have been filming a documentary about the rise of AFLW. They are going behind the scenes of 2022, as well as covering the backstory of the build up of AFLW.
Not surprisingly, we are one of the featured clubs. This can only be great given the success we had previously and then again in 2022.
I really enjoyed the previous 'Making their mark' documentary and thought it showed some good insight, including to Sloane and our club. I'm hoping this will do the same.
Massive congratulations to our club for getting on board with these things and being willing to be open. Should be interesting. We might get to see just what sort of coach old Doc Clarke is!
