No may not even be ready to go at start of cricket season but going to be terrific when it’s done. Will you be using it at all this year?

All going to plan, the Footy Club gets to use it in the second half of the season. At the moment, all games bar Mulgrave are being played away after the agreement of the opposition clubs. The Mulgrave game will be played at the Box Hill VFL ground. At season's end, the club rooms get pulled down. In the interim, the old club rooms on the north oval are going to be brought up to standard. The Cricket Club will be using them first, followed by the footy club. Now, what the "standard" is will be interesting. Will you be using it at all this year?

Practice Match News: EB won and lost today. A few more players have signed on, and a few were turned away due to their salary demands.
Vermont oval finished early/mid Feb in the warmer months, mid April and all ready the temperatures are a lot lower but hopefully you guys can get on at some stage later in the season.Struggle to understand why you do not use the north oval as I presume you are training on it.The Vermont oval was finished early/mid Feb and was played on mid April. If the turf is on by mid April, hopefully it should be ready for play by June 21st.
Apparently because the old rooms are going to be renovated, so they are ready for next year when the clubrooms are pulled down and then a new pavilion is built. As for the grass, fingers crossed, anyway I have been doing a lot mowing over the past couple of weeks. Looking forward to the game at Box Hill. But who really knows with Whitehorse. I am convinced they are deliberately either vague, misleading or don't tell you the real situation, so they can't be held accountable.Vermont oval finished early/mid Feb in the warmer months, mid April and all ready the temperatures are a lot lower but hopefully you guys can get on at some stage later in the season.Struggle to understand why you do not use the north oval as I presume you are training on it.
So when you say clubrooms pulled down you mean the ones on the south oval? Will make it difficult for training if I am correct.Long term when all this is completed will be great for EB and even a future Premier EFNL grand finals ground. As for Box Hill not a great fan of it (to big) but a far better option then what you have now.As they say short term pain for long term gain.Apparently because the old rooms are going to be renovated, so they are ready for next year when the clubrooms are pulled down and then a new pavilion is built. Yes, south oval rooms will be demolished at the end of the season. The renovated rooms on the north oval have to be ready for the start of the cricket season. Training won't be too bad, they may train on the north oval and use the rooms. On match day it will be played on the south oval and move between there and the rooms on the north oval. Surely if they were able to get on the south oval training would remain on the north oval and even matches other then seniors could play on north oval.Big issue is if there is rain around the time it starts to be played on, it will get ripped to shreds.
The Council says NO.Surely if they were able to get on the south oval training would remain on the north oval and even matches other then seniors could play on north oval.
Don't know what is going on with the Croydon seniors at the moment, it's almost as if they've had one too many pre-season sessions at the dirty Dorset sinking pots, fitness levels aren't the same as last season. Also only a few of the under 19s from last year's successful side have stayed on.
Looks like they made the right call to not take the jump up to Div 1.Don't know what is going on with the Croydon seniors at the moment, it's almost as if they've had one too many pre-season sessions at the dirty Dorset sinking pots, fitness levels aren't the same as last season. 1/5 lol.Best Division in the comp. Anyone can beat anyone.
Heathmont have done all the recruiting but havent really fired a shot yet. Should be far to strong for Ringwood although conditions will suit Ringwood
Surrey Park will go 3-0 against Croydon. Not sure whats happened down at Croydon but they just cant seam to score whereas Surrey kick goals for fun
Templestowe in match of the round vs Wanny South. Wanny South ewont e the easy beats this year but Tempy look the #1 seed for now.
Waverley Blues in a close one with Lilydale. Lilydale will be good at home but Waverley for mine
Mulgrave should get the Choccies against EB. Havent had the best start to the year EB and might have to wait a little longer for a win
