Even though I dislike some of the Dingley forum posters, They are clearly in front at this stage in my mind

Is it just Hampton supporters voting for themselves to be premiers or are they a genuine threat? Surely not going by last seasons performance. They would need to do a lot better. Does anybody know of their ins and outs for the upcoming season? I know they have a new coach...who is it again and where is he from? Will he bring players with him? By the looks of it Dingley are a monty to win the flag going by the judges and rightfully so. They just got pipped last year and should start miles in front. I think the Dingoes don't even need to turn up and the flag will be theirs!!

Mick Allen is the new coach of Hampton. Coached Sandown last year (admittedly didn't have a lot to work with), and coached North Kew before that. Rob Kreskas will be his playing assistant coach. Very good footballer (ex-Tooronga Malvern and Sandown I think, may have also played in the Eastern somewhere). Incredibly fit, hard running midfielder with good disposal. Apart from that, don't know who else they have picked up.

Heatherton are certainties, Dingley will choke, Kreskas coming back from broken leg wont be the player he was.

Hampton have a complete new Coaching staff and entirely new committee. Enthusiasm is at an all time high and they are averaging 35 plus at training already. Allen is a very good coach and many Hammers who had left over the last year or so are coming back. They will be a force in 08. Get your money on early folks, they have the goodies!

Quote from Hampton website after 1st training contradicts your numbers:

"Pre-season training for the 2008 season has commenced in what was a great turnout for the first night, 27 on the track and 5 new faces in there."

Normally numbers drop off after 1st night...maybe you guys have bucked that trend?

This is an interesting throw away P-Dog, trying to take the eye off the Tunners. You will win the Div2 comp B&F and also win the flag easily. C'mon mate be serious when your posting!!!

Newman was going to play at Chelt but then decided that he would go back home and play with his brother at Kyabram. Signed there a few weeks back

I have a mate who plays at the Meadows and he was introduced to the playing group on Tuesday night along with Aaron Hennemann. That is a fact.
