hmmm well i have decided i will play if i get a game as i wont be able to train at all due to work being full on, no big loss either way wont make a difference in the team structure.....
so will see....
i love the club as a whole...
oh and frisser i been hitting city lately...

i agree you with you mate, canterbury and mount are the 2 teams to beat. I know we can beat mount after they beat us by less then a goal twice last year, however canterbury smashed us. if you from berwick where u play, doveton or dandy i presume

Looks like Doveton have added some more coaching exp can anyone shed some light on Mick ? wonder why he did not get the gig at Dandy as they have been thereabouts for a couple of years now? Has anybody heard anything about Cobras recruits etc ?

don't know if he wanted the dandy job!! has been talk for a while now that he would end up at power reserve!! handy 2's coach, lightens the load on wormy also!!

Hey, what the? I just found this thread... I agree with the Vulture. I can't see why there's teams other than Skye on there, they're $1.01 favourites. Mount Waverley to finish second by a point and choke worse than Bob Woolmer. I would think Muscat will spend a lot of time on marking in the backline at training this year. That is all.

If he has signed at vermont fair enough but dont talk rubbish about knowing how much he gets

he is bloody good, i'm not sure if anyone from div 3 southern is worth $600 a game though......

$600 x 18 = $10,800 a year plus finals!! god strike me, good money for a kid!!

Looks like us boys at South Yarra have not just been written off this year but written out of the comp by Mad Man . The Cow will have something to say when he gets out of bed sometime this afternoon I am sure.

Only based on last year have to say Mount favourites, with the rumour being Skye looking at starting at short odds for the flag once again.

Don't you just love rumours,Skye were the odds on fav this season what happened failed again, ummm it must be a culture thing though MM still believes that Skye and Carrum Downs are not related.They use the same ground have a fair few of their players the same supporters yet their not related yer right,will MM get a kick,will Corey be a good coach talk it up boys as talk is cheap keep it for the season !!!!Merry Xmas

Vermont would not spend that much money on a SFL Div 3 player, A friend is in the starting 18 at Vermont and only gets $150 per game, the problem is when people report the amount of money going around it always seems to be exaggerated, then what is worse is people believe this crap.

After seeing some div 3 games this year i think the most any player would be worth would be $150-200

He is a former Carrum Downs player who crossed to the Moorabbin Kangaroos when they folded.
When the club reformed as Skye Football Club he stated that he was going back to his old club. For all the talk about Skye there is no doubt they have under achieved.

Dandy paid him $300 a game last yr. Vermont offered to double his money.
$600 a game for a senior player is'nt a lot of money at Vermont.

When Skye Formed I came back because my best mate Pete Diamond wanted to play there, I was actually going to play at chelsea heights, but what made me go play for skye was what he said to me one night "Imagine winning a game on wedge rd!!"
Never said I was going back to my old club as they no longer exist!!
