Agreed, very exciting game yesterday. Former VFL player Michael Rockefeller is going to be very handy for the OGS if he stays fit.An exciting game at Mt Eliza yesterday after an excellent President's Luncheon with both sides having their chances to win and Old Geelong recording a well-deserved victory. A couple of key exclusions to the Pirates through some weird injuries last week certainly didn't help them and unsettled their structure.

What happened to Ormond 8-11 to 4-5 after the first QWhat happened to Old Geelong? 5 goals for the game?
And he was nearly B.O.G, but that award went to the men in whiteOrmond debuting a 15 yo today. Investing in the future or what?
It is just typical crap from you Ormond boys blaming the umpires. Perhaps you were not good enough on the day. But a 120 point turnaround was a fair effort methinks. And he was nearly B.O.G, but that award went to the men in white
yep, well done to Glen Eira but my point was the central umpire overuling a goal umpire from 70 meters away, when everyone behind the goals said it was a goal and that was Ormond and Glen Eira people
I assume that it wasn't an Association Goal ump? What about the other field ump? Time to bring in goal line technology.yep, well done to Glen Eira but my point was the central umpire overuling a goal umpire from 70 meters away, when everyone behind the goals said it was a goal and that was Ormond and Glen Eira people
Same venue, same day, earlier game, two club field umpires who did a very good job. Nice change to see that there was not favourtism shown, just 2 guys volunteering for their clubs and not trying to get their own club over the line, as so often seems to be the case.. It was a club umpire from Ormond who was fair all day, and the GE goalie was very fair as well.
