I'd be very surprised to see MHS relegated. They have great depth as their 2nds side showed and should win most home games.

Bedford, your posts are generally quite good, however you implied players may be about to be paid by inferring that they may have been payed / paid, which they probably were. It was nice of Mad Bastard to apologise, but I feel that it should have been the other way around.
Your posts suggest that Ormond have attracted some good recruits and also have a VFL listed player.
Have you ever thought that many players who cross to Amateur clubs may be in the twilight of their playing days, live locally and are happy to give something back?

Your kidding yourself arent ya Bedford, the players who have come to willy have come because they are real close with the coach, that is all, who used to play at Spotty! Most havent played in years, i dont know where your getting your information from. Making insinuations that we are paying them is laughable! The only thing someone would be getting payed at our club would be a couple of dimmies if we played well, if that! Tell me where a club like ours is going to find money to players??? get ur facts right..

Expect the Rovers to finish in the top 5-6 clubs and have a major say in the outcome of the final 4 this year. Who knows, the Rovers might do a 'rags-to-riches' situation and go from being winless one year, to promotion and premiers the next.

Your club has been very active early, Jase. The return of Pinto and Devereaux are huge pluses. It also looks like Martyn might play a game or two as well.

Sadly, I wouldn't be so confident about the Monders if my info about the turnout so far is somewhere near the truth. Early days yet though. I'm sure 'bedford' will give me some reason to be more optimistic.

I know heaps of blokes on deals (or have been offered deals) that are in direct violation of the VAFA rules (in higher grades), but am amazed that the VAFA seem to be oblivious. Really tarnishes the league, if the VAFA can't find one club in violation of paying players they are kidding themselves!!!!

I named numerous players from a club that was in d1 2 years ago and all it got me was red cards and abuse. It's not my place.

I just find it frustrating when some play by the rules and others don't. Makes it worse when trying to get blokes who went to the school back from VFL paying clubs only to have them snatched away by other ammo clubs that they have had nothing to do with, with offers that we can't compete with due to not wanting to break the rules.

I love ammo football and would hate to be at an efl club that just fields mercenaries that would play for the opposition for an extra $20. i think the vafa need to do something more to ensure money stays out of the Ammos.

Very hard to predict D1, haven't heard much out of any club. But I'm expecting the two D2 finalists to finish higher. Will be interesting to see how Hampton go after a winless 2012. I agree that Whitefriars will be in the top 4 also.

Ridiculously hard to predict at this stage. League B&F probably easier. I'll have $50 on Fletcher from Rovers to win the comp B&F no matter where they finish, with Florence from Bulleen Temp a very close 2nd.

With Pinto and Devereaux back he’s no sure thing to even win Rovers B&F you’d think.
