Right. How about the fact Kew lost to Therry by two points today. Had destiny in their own hands.

Will be interesting to see if the VAFA use common sense with fixturing.
1s: Kew v Peninsula (3rd v 4th
2s: Kew v Peninsula (1st v 2nd)
Surely schedule them together despite the finishing places

1s: Preston v UHS (1st v 2nd)
2s: Therry v West Brunswick (3rd v 4th)

Congratulations to eth-dog for drawing level on the last round tips for 2019. The tipping rules require a countback of all perfect scores recorded to determine a single winner. Unfortunately eth-dog only scored 4 perfect rounds while I scored 5 perfect rounds. I'm happy to share eth-dog .

If I were tipping:

Preston to beat UHS
Peninsula to upset Kew
UHS to overrun Peninsula late (very impressed with their spread, will stack up in finals)

In the ressies

Kew to win overall
WB to beat Therry
Peninsula to win the prelim

In the last two weeks of the threes (with the top 4 consisting of Kew, Therry, SMS and UHS, Kew undefeated in the GF right now)

SMS to beat Therry in a relatively tight affair
SMS to upset Kew in the GF

Preston clearly the team to beat. I saw a half of them against Peninsula a few weeks ago and they look comfortably the best side.
I think (slightly one eyed maybe) that the pirates are the dark horse to storm home. Except for a last quarter disaster against the bullants theyve been super impressive the last 8 or so weeks, beating UHS twice and Kew once.
Would love to hear some more thoughts regarding the upcoming finals series

Preston play with more campaigner than the other top 3 for me, and have good skills on the outside.
UHS-VU have the best system for me. As good as several systems in C Grade from what I saw last year, but don't have the experience Kew does.
Kew have the experience and the skills, but aren't as good as the top 2 IMO.
I didn't actually get to see Peninsula, but they did have a good system last year.
