All GE 5 teams won for the first time this year. Ivanhoe's ground was very sticky in the middle which didn't help our style. Best two umpires we've had all year. Good to get some players back. Yarra next week at home big test.

Thanks for picking against us against Ivanhoe. Will they be fielding a reserves?
I thought you'd win , was just trying to catch peanut. Pity you didn't join the tipping. It's a pretty good year by the Combine going up a grade , but the whole div is stuffed with the byes.

Looks as though St Johns made major jump back into Div 2. Powerhouse to get the 4 points

Great day at GE. Seniors, reserves, under 19s and ladies were winners with the thirds going down to Chadstone. Seniors had payback time against Yarra who I presume had about 30 out. When we played Yarra at their ground we filled their social rooms after the game. Today five of their officials stayed back. Saved us on 6 packs. Very bad form win or lose. Also noted a lot of their seconds going to maccas etc and bringing food and drink back. Our club spends a dollar at away games but this was woeful.

No Macca’s near your mob, maybe look at your canteen.

Happy with the Hoes win even though I missed this week. Strongest lineup we've fielded in a while and it showed on the scoreboard. While mathematically possible, relegation is unlikely now.

We've got a lot of games into young blokes this year which should help us going forward and while we have been beaten comfortably many times, generally we've competed pretty well.
