Any truth to the rumour parade were offering a current teacher at the school who plays for lower plenty money under the table to play?
My mail says that the offer was turned down on moral grounds, respecting the ammos "play for the jumper" code, however it will be interesting to see if their apparent war chest is used on another player/s.

Taking potshots at players from games three years ago. Flinging around unsubstantiated claims about the ethics of a club under guise of "mail". Slow news day here on BigFooty it would seem.
Care to explain where the mail came from, or the apparent war chest ?

Well let's certainly hope it isn't true, as if it were and the teacher had accepted it would be blatant cheating, wouldn't you agree?
And if every rumour on BigFooty was true about players taking cash, then the salaries would be higher than the NFL, EFL, EDFL and WRFL combined.

......and close to 90 new players for 2021. Great effort from all of those at WB to develop an environment that players want to be a part of.
We (Ivanhoe) will have a significant increase in 'new' players also for registrations after adding a Men's Thirds team and second Womens team for season 2021. Hopefully we can continue to improve across ALL of our teams as our last couple of years have been very poor and we have a lot of work to do. That said, it's great to see a heap on new (and old) faces coming/returning to the club.

80-90 new players in at WB is an extraordinary result, especially some of the younger talent that has transferred in from St Bernards. Could we have a new emerging powerhouse in the inner north to rival Fitzroy ?
Regardless of that, with those numbers, the influx at Ivanhoe and word coming from over Aquinas way, I guess that puts those three clearly out in front, with the others chasing for that fourth spot.

We have won 6 games in the past 36 (two seasons played), we have alot of improvement to do before we can rival a club like yours coming down from a grad higher and clubs that were already significantly stronger than us in 2019 - Glen Eria, MHSOB, Bulleen Temp. We are expecting to improve, but contented favorite is a bit of a stretch.

Recent history aside, being able to attract enough players during COVID to add an extra two sides is good work on the part of your club. Well played. Also having Ash back at the helm can only make you much stronger.I understand we are playing a night fixture at Ivanhoe Park this year, and we are planning a legends match / past players function when you head up here in Round 3, so should be some fun between our respective clubs in 2021
