They have a great young list and strong 19's coming through, so the future looks bright for them as those players mature -IMO.

Just hopeful of a good blow out tomorrow, several key people missing due to some other commitments so maybe I was just preempting our result tomorrow when I advised your result

Had a good hit out with the Turtles yesterday. Both teams had momentum at different stages in a couple of close games. We were happy with the way things went considering a few guys to come back into both sides.

Looking forward to starting the season.

Hey Brainy T - not and ACL but unfortunately he has broken his patella in two places. Wasn't a great day for us and injuries, but that's the unfortunate thing with footy at times.

Nothing to sinister Mappa - we don't use the term Reserves for our twos as it's been mostly a young group rather than a group of old boys still having a kick. It's something our coaches instigated in 2021 and the committee were happy to support them with it.

Brunswick v Cobras - you never know with a team coming down a grade just how they will go, but first up at home I'll tip them.
Aquinas v West Brunswick - I think West will be one of the top teams this season, so give them the nod round 1
Yarra v MHSOB - The Unicorns were travelling very nicely last year and they have recruited well. Team to beat in 2022 IMO.
Bulleen Templestowe v Power House - flip of the coin and landed on the home team.
Ivanhoe v OP's - always close games and last time we met they got us. Hoping for a different result this time at home for my mob.

Good luck everyone on the season ahead. I hope you all enjoy the year, have limited injuries and don't win many when you play us

I’d say onto next week is where. Not the only side to get beaten comfortably, and we certainly won’t be the last to get touched up by Ivanhoe. They were very good tonight, and there won’t be too many full backs who’ll be able to stop Ash Close.
We had half a dozen Under 19s playing their first ever Senior game, against an opposition with VFL experience.
Outclassed tonight but it’s definitely not panic stations.
