The incompetency of umpires at divisional level must be looked at. There can not be a single person at HQ who truly believes Divison 4 or 4-5th Div U19s with the new structure deserves a full book of umpires before D2 Men.

Clubs only receiving 2 field umpires weekly is disgraceful.

Depends on times played. A lot of those games are at 9:20 and allow the goal and boundaries to double up and go to a premier grade at 2 PM.

Ofcourse although you cannot sit there and tell me the Men’s divisional set up with umpires is reasonable.

We've had two very good sets of umps first two games.

Walked the parrot down to Therry to watch TP v Wicks.
Great day put on by TP with the lunch and the pre game ceremony.
Unfortunately the on field didn’t match the off field. Wicks jumped them and kept the ball rolling. Only 1 on the bench after half time for the Wicks in 27 degree heat so a fantastic effort to hold and extend the lead

An interesting note on said discussion, div 5 girls had the full compliment of umpires including goal umpires.

Is it the full umpires at 9:20 then off to a senior 2:00 game? Would that be why?

North Brunswick clearly stepped up too far moving into Div 2. Rolling over Eley Park and Chadstone gave them a false sense of where they actually sit.
