G'day Nikko - Can't comment too much on the ressies as I only arrived at 1/2 time - was told you guys played a belter of a 2nd quarter which set up the result. Noticed there were 3 regular senior players for PA playing who were left out of the senior side and obviously don't know of your possible senior count. The big unit in your forward line was prominent and a key to your winning. The game itself was hard fought as you'd expect in a Granny and congrats to your team on a well-deserved win.

Oh, it is so Uni HIgh to be excited about winning a D3 Ressies flag. have been languishing for years in the D3 anf D4 grade whilst trying to qualify guys to play twos. Great culture.
Stories abound of the old "I only want to play twos" guys who help them meaningless twos flag. Kew have been in the same boat in the past.

ROCKHEAD: UHS has been in 4 of last 5 reserves Finals winning 2 Seniors have played in finals 3 of those years. Under 18s won Grand Final last year. Expect a loss of some experienced players and will take time for the younger players to come through but we have exceiting plans for the future.
Meaningless Flags .... I guess you would say that but that would be belittling all reserves players from all clubs. Presume you are from a D3/4 club languishing here with us. Advice - win a flag Rock, Any flag ... just 1. Puff Puff Rocky down for the count!

The players and club will thats for sure. A flags a flag! Not everyone gets to play in one. From your response I would think you've never actually played in a GF at all.

Oh, please enlighten me as the these "exciting plans". I have been hearing them for years . First the formation of the under 18's and the relationship with Flemington was going to rocket you up the grades. Well hasn't that made a big difference to your senior team's performance!
Now what are the next exciting plans? Not letting payers dictate to the club that they "only want to play twos"? Now that would be a step in the right direction!
Well I have to come out of retirement after that comment!

The aim is to achieve the best you can in the situation you are in! If it means nothing does that mean the losing team should not be dissapointed? Should they run out on the field and not even try?

Every achievement that helps build morale at a club is extremely important!
If I was less thoughtful about what I say i probably would have just said you are a FLOG but I thought I would say the above instead.
