Ash "the Moose" close getting the job done for the Hoes. Lucky the AFL haven't brought in the mid-season draft yet, he has sent out a few DVD's to AFL clubs and has posted some self highlights on youtube, so we may have lost him for good!!

all 4 sides winning and each side had a player with 10+ goals, nice day for the club!

Better than anything you are offering DeeThree. At least he is posting, not just taking pot shots

Thanks Champers for your contribution...a waste of 81 characters...

Feel free at anytime to get off the fence and make a comment that isn't safe and middle of the road.

Get out and live on the edge...might do you some good.

Or maybe you should just stay safely at home, having another early night tucked up in bed in your pajamas and nursing a mug of hot chocolate...

Thanks for actually reading my post Dee Three! I'm flattered.

Can someone tell me why SFX are going so bad this year they seem to have a good two side and the ones are only average? Some word that the coaching staff are just playing mates?

Anyone willling to alter their predictions from the start of the season? Still very much open from 3-10 in my eyes. Think YV and Ivanhoe will come top 2 but the next three spots are firmly up for grabs.

UHSVU v SFX - SFX have been in a slump. I think the break will serve them well and they'll get up.
YV v RC - Well.... Someone has to beat the bushrangers at some point right?
Elsternwick v AP ... Wickers will win for Col Page. RIP.
Kew v Aquinas ... Will be close. Going for Kew.
Hawthorn v Powerhouse ... Powerhouse will struggle without the big man, and hawthorn seem to be getting it together. Hawthorn
OW v Ivanhoe ... Ivanhoe will slap them around, unelss its windy and wet. Which it probably will be.

Reserves:
UHS, RC, EW, Kew, PH, Ihoe

Hoe's love it wet

Round 8
UHS VU v SFX. Brens boys.
Yarra Valley v Richmond Central. 'Rangers too good at home.
Elsternwick c Albert Park. Wicks for sure. Tom Brain Challenge Cup at stake.
Kew v Aquinas. Victoria park residents to dent the hopes of Aquinas.
Hawthorn v Power House. Hawks.
Old Westbourne v Ivanhoe. Black and white to pluck the headdress.

UHS-VU vs St Francis Xavier - The X-Men are struggling at the moment and won't receive any mercy from the students in this one.
Yarra Valley vs Richmond - The Tiger-Snakes have been impressive in recent games but can't see them upsetting the Winemakers.
Elsternwick vs Albert Park - The Red & Blacks will be playing on emotion but think the Falcons can overcome this and win.
Kew vs Aquinas - An important game for both teams as they look to establish themselves in their respective ladder positions and think Aquinas has more to play for.
Hawthorn vs Power House - The Hawks pulled off a mild surprise last round and should make it two-from-two against an out of sorts Power House.
Old Westbourne vs Ivanhoe - The old boys were no match for the premiership favourites last round and will again find it a long day against another grand final contender.

Saw a very competitive Richmond Centrals today take it up to Yarra for a half without Angus. Hard to get a guage on them without their spearhead so I'll reserve judgement.

Good to see the Wicks get up for Col Page.

Haven't seen Aquinas or Westbourne yet but huge question marks now over the former.

Winners this week
Aq v Yarra:Yarra 7 goals, they are just too good at the moment
Wicks v UHSUHS 4 goals, you don't want to be playing at oval number 2 on a rainy day, but the students will get the job done.
Rich v Hoes: Ivanhoe 3 goals, match of the round, going for the team higher on the ladder
AP V House: Albert Park 2 goals, the house may be tired after playing at the big Visy ground.
Hawks v OW: Hawks 2 goals, may be tired as well, but they are on a roll.
STFOX V Kew: St Francis 4 goals, will be tough for Kew out there in the rain and wind.

Aq v YV 47 points
Wicks v UHS-VU 18 points the wicks in the rain on the 'stamp'.
Rich v Hoes: Ivanhoe 3 points - Never played the Station Masters and should be a ripper - big game for both.
AP V House: Albert Park 2 points - think this will be a very close one, especially if big Eddo is back?
Hawks v OW: Hawks 29 points - will completely outsize OW on a small ground in the wet.
ST V Kew: St Francis 5 points massive game for both in the set up for a run at the finals.

Good luck all.

Go Hoes.

Chump.
